The County Register was established by Heather Heber Percy in 1983. Her company still runs along the same traditional lines building on the successful formula she has created over the years to help bring happy couples together. Heather, with the rest of the team have had great success of introducing couples in London and the Home Counties, who would otherwise never had met. Heather is both the Director of the Company and Chairman of the DAA due to her expertise and high regard in which she is held in the world of dating. Heather resides in London, where a huge percentage of the UK’s personal matchmaking takes place, and over the years has become probably the best known personal matchmaker in London.
Our Matchmaking Services
At the County Register we help bring together people of all ages and from all areas of London and beyond. Their commonality is that they are all of a certain calibre and genuinely free and focused on meeting a long-term partner. Part of Heather’s unique and successful formula is that every member is interviewed face to face, usually in their own home, so we have personal knowledge of every one of our members. This creates a truly individual service and for the best possible matching knowledge, which is especially relevant in London.
During the interview we complete our comprehensive dating questionnaire as well as taking your photo to compliment your written profile which we will write for you after your interview. Like all our members we will put you through our ID verification system as your safety is paramount. The exciting part of your dating journey begins when you are passed to your matchmaker who will carry out your individual searches. She will also have access to the County Register database which is part of the largest UK database of eligible and successful singles, all of whom have been personally interviewed, ID checked and carefully vetted.
